A couple of years ago, me and the band were playing a show at my favorite spot, The Dawson. The show was a great time as usual, and I noticed a crazy, sexy, cool couple right up front dancing and singing every word through the course of the set. After the band got finished playing, I introduced myself to the couple, and later that night realized that “Matt” had the same name as a good childhood friend from the 4th grade whom I haven’t seen in YEARS. The next time the band played, Matt was there and after talking a bit, we realized we were friends from back in elementary school. This blew my mind, so cool to get reconnected and now we’re doing a show together. He’s supplying the visuals, and Cookie’s supplying the sounds.
