Bio — Long

Cookie Rabinowitz is a Philadelphia-based singer, guitarist, and live looping artist who makes what he calls "Four Eye'd Soul" — a sound rooted in Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Sly Stone, filtered through guitar heroes and 90s R&B. He builds every song in real time on stage using a Boss RC-600 Loop Station and Ableton Move, layering vocals, guitar, and percussion with no backing tracks.

After a fire destroyed his home and studio, Cookie rebuilt from scratch — emerging with a deeper commitment to making music that connects. His single "Learn To Play" premiered on WXPN 88.5, Philadelphia's legendary public radio station (home of World Cafe, Peabody Award winner, heard on 288 NPR affiliates by over 600,000 weekly listeners).

Cookie is signed to GangStirRock Records, founded by Orlando Jones and distributed by KMG Records. He also built the Cookie Dough-Jo — a direct-to-fan platform where listeners complete interactive quests to unlock exclusive music and content, bypassing the streaming model entirely.

When he's not in his home studio or on stage, Cookie DJs at a small club in Center City Philadelphia. He's more comfortable behind a guitar than making small talk — so his songs speak for him.
